Dear Esteemed Colleague,
I would like to invite you to attend The 13th International Workshop on Microbeam Probes of Cellular Radiation Response (IWM2017).The event will be hosted by the University of Manchester and the Christie NHS Foundation Trust, at the Christie Hospital, Manchester, UK.
The aim of this international workshop is to bring together world experts to discuss recent progress in the use of microbeams to investigate the radiation biology underpinning particle therapy and understand the cellular response to radiation.
Topics will include:
– Radiation biology of particle therapy
– Cellular and tissue effects
– Microbeam facility design
– X-ray and Laser microbeams
– Particle therapy research facilities
– Clinical translation from microbeam research
Abstract submissions are welcome, if you would like to present a contributed talk or poster at the conference, please submit your abstract to education.events@christie.nhs.uk by 14th May 2017 to be considered.
Early bird bookings are open until the 14th July 2017. We look forward to welcoming you to Manchester in September!
